  Prepare and maintain a Montessori-aligned classroom environment that is orderly, engaging, and conducive to self-directed learning.

  Ensure all Montessori materials are accessible, well-organized, and appropriately challenging for students.

  Observe and assess each child’s developmental needs, interests, and progress. Introduce Montessori materials and lessons based on individual and group readiness.

  Foster independence, problem-solving skills, and respect for self, others, and the environment.

  Work closely with assistant teachers and staff to support a cohesive learning environment.

  Support social-emotional growth by modeling grace, courtesy, and conflict-resolution skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).

Montessori teaching credential (AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited) for the appropriate age level (Infant/Toddler, Primary, Elementary).

Prior experience working in a Montessori classroom (preferred).

Knowledge of child development and Montessori principles.

Patience, adaptability, and a growth mindset.

Strong observational and interpersonal skills.

Montessori classroom setting with mixed-age groups.
