We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team. The Sales Officer will be responsible for selling our products and services to educational institutions, including primary schools, secondary schools, and colleges. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers within the schools and ensuring that our solutions meet their needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Identify and Target Prospects: Research and identify potential school clients, including principals, administrators, and purchasing decision-makers.
Develop Sales Strategies: Create and execute effective sales plans to reach out to schools, pitch products and services, and achieve sales targets.
Build Relationships: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with school administrators, educators, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and promote our offerings.
Product Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations to showcase the benefits and features of our products and services.
Negotiate and Close Deals: Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, including negotiating contracts and terms.
Market Research: Stay updated with trends in the education sector, gather feedback from schools, and provide insights to the marketing and product development teams.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards sales targets using CRM or Office tools.
Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to school/college post-sale, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Travel: Candidate should have own two-wheelers with valid driving license and visit institution (school/college) for marketing and sales of our product and services. Willingness to travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct on-site presentations at schools.
Working Hours: Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed, depending on client availability.
Sales Targets: Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by the Sales Manager.
Reporting: Required to submit regular sales activity reports, client feedback, and market insights to the Sales Manager.
Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the education sector or a similar industry.
