  Teaching English Language and Literature: Deliver engaging lessons in reading, writing, grammar, and literary analysis to students in grades 7–10.

  Curriculum Development: Plan and develop lesson plans, assessments, and projects aligned with the curriculum and academic standards.

  Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment that encourages student participation, respect, and collaboration.

  Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess student performance through tests, essays, presentations, and class discussions. Provide feedback to support student improvement.

  Student Support: Offer individualized guidance to help students develop their reading and writing skills, as well as assist with homework and exam preparation.

  Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with teaching strategies, educational technologies, and literature trends.

  Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic achievements.

  Extracurricular Involvement: Contribute to school activities such as literary clubs, drama productions, or writing competitions as appropriate.

Educational Qualifications: A master's degree in English, Education, or a related field. A teaching certification or credential in secondary education is preferred.

Experience: Prior teaching experience at the secondary school level is an advantage. Experience in teaching English language and literature is preferred.

Subject Knowledge: Strong understanding of English grammar, literature, composition, and writing techniques.

Classroom Management Skills: Ability to create a structured, engaging, and respectful classroom environment.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.

Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning and teaching.

Assessment Skills: Ability to design and evaluate assessments, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress.

Adaptability: Flexibility to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and educational needs.
